Vianet is happy to announce that we are willing to proceed with the FTTH (Fibre to the Home) project in your neighborhood provided our new offer is accepted by the 123 homes that have signed up for the project. Since we did not obtain the 180 homes we had first agreed to proceed with the project, we are submitting to you the following offer, if accepted, will allow us to proceed.
The following is our new offer to the residents of Greater Trail of the Woods:
The monthly price for the Triple Play Service will be $109.95. This is our posted price in all our areas where we sell this service. Vianet will keep the price charged in the Greater Trail of the Woods area the same as our posted rate we charge in our other serving areas with FTTH. This will give you price protection due to the competitive nature in our other FTTH deployments.
Vianet requires a one-time installation payment of $2500.00 to be held in a trust account by the Town of Whitchurch Stouffville. Your payment will only be released to Vianet once we have completed the installation to your satisfaction and all services are working properly. You will be required to sign off on the installation which Vianet will present that signed off form to the town for payment.
Vianet will continue to charge the $2,500 installation fee to any new customers coming onto the network for a 3 year period. Vianet will retain the $2,500 installation charge for new entrants up to the original plan of 180 homes and thereafter, share the $2,500 installation charges with the 123 customers, up to the end of the 36 month period, on the following basis.
Vianet will give each customer who signs up in the initial phase, a free 2 months viewing of viaMovies+ and viaSuperChannel. Should the numbers climb to 180 customers by the time we complete the final installation of the original build, Vianet will reinstate the free 3 months of all our services as in the original offer.
Vianet is presently working on the MOU with the Town of Whitchurch Stouffville and once completed we will send out to each of you, as well we will post this MOU on the Trail of the Woods link on our website.
Further details on how, where and when to submit your installation payment to the Town of Whitchurch Stouffville and the time line to start and complete this project will come in the following 2 weeks as we work out the details.
