Message Relay Service (711)
OVERVIEW
Vianet message relay service that enables persons who are deaf, deafened and hard of hearing and persons with speech disabilities to make and receive calls from a teletypewriter (TTY). This service is available to Vianet phone service subscribers.
TTY Users
Dial 711 from your Vianet phone number.
Voice Users
Voice users who wish to place calls to a Vianet subscriber who uses a TTY, can dial the Vianet message relay operator at 1-800-855-0511.
IP Message Relay Service
OVERVIEW
Vianet internet protocol (IP) message relay service is an operator assisted service that enables persons who are deaf, deafened and hard of hearing and persons with speech disabilities to make and receive text based calls from a computer using an online chat application.
TTY Users
In order to register for this service you must be a Vianet phone service subscriber. If you wish to register for this service please email ipmrs@vianet.ca or call 1-800-788-0363.
Voice Users
Voice users who wish to place calls to a Vianet subscriber who uses a TTY, can dial the Vianet message relay operator at 1-800-855-0511.

Available through both our Flextv and Fibre Television, closed captioning displays the audio portion of a television program as text on the TV screen, providing a critical link to news, entertainment and information for individuals who are deaf or hard-of-hearing.

AMI-audio is an accessible television channel that we offer on both our Flextv and Fibre Television, which offers a variety of compelling stories and engaging original content to Canadians who are blind, partially sighted or otherwise print restricted.
